Relevance Find Machine (RFM) - The Intelligence Behind JUST
The Relevance Find Machine (RFM) used in the search is based on an approach that was developed specifically for narrowing down relevant information within highly fragmented information layers. The starting point is the assumption that relevance in complex information spaces is not created through mere aggregation, but through contextual classification and structural consolidation. Relevance does not arise in isolation, but from the context.
RFM technology also forms the methodological basis of the JUST - Joint Universal Sector Taxonomy. While JUST acts as a search and navigation layer, RFM provides the intelligent relevance architecture that systematically links the underlying classification systems - GICS, NAICS, ICB and SIC. The structured data space resulting from this connection is understood as an ATLAS: a consolidated, cross-taxonomy orientation space for sectors, industries and market segments.
Functionally, RFM can be described as a "search engine within a search engine". It supplements traditional search mechanisms with an upstream relevance layer that only reveals results that are directly related to the search query. Content without a direct contextual reference is consistently hidden.
The interaction between JUST, ATLAS and RFM creates a three-tier system:
The specific gap that is closed by this architecture results from the intelligent combination of data availability, artificial intelligence, systematic curation as well as self-learning and self-optimizing processes. Relevance is not merely calculated, but rather developed in a structured manner and contextually anchored. This approach is used in particular in specialized financial information environments such as GICS Eleven (CORE), Thematic Portfolios, CopyTrader i/o, swarmalpha i/o or Due Diligence Hub, in which fragmented data is transformed into condensed, navigable information spaces using smart algorithms.
